Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.1% in August 17–Monday
MOSCOW, Aug 25 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation amounted to 0.1% from August 17 through Monday after a 0.01% deflation in the previous week, and reached 4.58% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
Prices for buckwheat rose by 0.1%, sunflower seed oil price fell by 0.02%, sugar went up by up to 0.16%, for poultry by 0.3%, egg prices fell by 0.77%, beef grew by 0.64%, flour by 0.21%, noodles by 0.51%, bread by 0.17%.
Prices for fruit and vegetables decreased by 1.7% on average, with potato prices falling by 1.91%, tomato 1.7%, cucumber by 0.68%, carrot prices by 7.51%, apple ones 1.08%.
Gasoline prices grew by 0.3%, diesel fuel ones by 0.1%.
